Dexterity
Dexterity measures agility, coordination, balance, and reflexive control. It is one of the most visible scores at the table because it frequently touches initiative, positioning, stealth, precision attacks, and many defensive choices.
Initiative and reactions. Dexterity frequently shapes how quickly a character enters the round and how well that character handles dangerous openings.
Ranged and finesse combat. If the plan is to fight through precision rather than force, Dexterity is often the score that keeps attack math and positioning aligned.
Stealth and hazard avoidance. Characters who scout, hide, slip through terrain, or avoid splash damage often find Dexterity carrying more weight than any dramatic speech about being “fast.”
High value for agile combatants
If the character wants to go first, attack at range, hide reliably, or survive through movement and positioning, Dexterity usually deserves a premium slot.
Still useful even off-plan
Many non-Dexterity-primary builds still appreciate a reasonable Dexterity because initiative and common defensive pressure show up constantly.
