Selectable feat

Whenever you and an ally who has this feat are both threatening the same creature, you must each hit that creature with one claw attack in a round in order to use your rend special attack. If your rend damage is different from your ally's, this attack deals the higher damage. Your ally must ready an action to attack with a claw to cooperate with you, unless you hit before your ally's turn in the same round, in which case your ally can choose to rend when your ally hits. You and your ally can use this feat to rend only once per round.

Normal: You must hit with two of your claw attacks to use your rend ability.
