At 8th level, as an immediate action upon successfully hitting a creature with a melee attack that's already suffering from a fear effect, you deal 2d6 extra points of damage and gain that amount in temporary hit points. These temporary hit points last for 24 hours or until lost. You can use this ability once per day at 8th level, and an additional time per day for every 4 levels beyond 8th.
